Last Tuesday, a peculiar theropod, nicknamed Slender Legs, was discovred off the coast of Utah's salt flats. The new theropod, named Memoxycolon xiphactinus, lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 65 million years ago. Scientists have recently analized how it died: from starvation when it's leg was trapped in a landslide. The skeleton was almost intact missing only it's tail.
